Ontario Government chooses King site for Peaker Plant
December 11, 2008The Ontario Power Authority announced the site for the Peaker Plant on December 11, 2009. They have chosen a site on Dufferin St. in King. Please email me with any input on this decision.

Proposed Peaker Plant in northern York Region
In January, the Minister of Energy ordered the Ontario Power Authority to build a 350 megawatt power plant in northern York Region. Many constituents are concerned about this proposal and its effect on our local environment. We do need to ensure that we have enough electricity generation to meet the needs of our area and I have called for a full environmental assessment on this project. Please review some of the information I have collected and let me know your views through this site’s “Contact Us” page.
